Saudi blogger Fouad al-Farhan released!
Saturday, April 26, 2008
I called Ahmed al-Omran (aka Saudi Jeans), who is currently in Jeddah attending a conference, and he confirmed that he also received a text message from Fouad's wife this morning announcing his release.
Fouad was arrested in Jeddah on Dec. 10, 2007, and was held in a detention center for for more than four months because of the various entries on his blog that called for less corruption and more accountability in Saudi Arabia.
Will he continue blogging now that he has been released? That is a question that only Fouad can answer. I'm sure we will find out soon enough. For now, Fouad probably just wants to forget his ordeal and bond with is family.

1 Comments:
Neocons are zionist evangelical christians and jewish elite.
They are fomenting civil wars between muslim as in
1)Iraq between sunni and shia muslims.
2)Palestine between fatah and hamas,
3)Somalia between islamic courts and warlord government
4)Afghanistan between northern alliance and taliban.
The aim is DIVIDE TO CONQUER, it is not to support one party over another.
The dutch movie "fitna" is part of a psychological warfare,
to increase tension so muslims can kill each other.
The dilema is this: many arab/muslim leaders are puppets and willing to go a long
with the neocon's plans of killing their own people. An example would be Maaliki, karzai,
kuwaiti emir, saudi king, jordan king, musharaf, mubarak.
Muslims need to find a solution to this dilema.
Organization of islamic conference OIC should become muslim union like european union,
if muslim masses unite nobody can stop them from forming MU,
in muslim countries people should take to the streets peacfully to demand a MUSLIM UNION.
